I designed and coordinated four successful and well-attended Art-A-Thons: annual 12 hour overnight art-making marathons for 40 kids.

ART-A-THONS
700 students created HUNDREDS of ceramic cups, cup related photography and more in order to make an impact on their community. All proceeds were donated to local charities.
CHARITY EVENT
"CUPS WITH A CAUSE" EXHIBIT
An exhibit of photos taken by over 100 photography students during which professional family photos were available for $10 donations.
Proceeds benefited the local high school photography program.

"WE STILL USE A DARKROOM" EXHIBIT
Each year for the past 12 years, the Midwest Art Catalyst has coordinated the Post Holiday Extravaganza with the goal of raising money for local art & music ventures. A full weekend of live music, an art raffle, silent auction, and bake sale.

POST-HOLIDAY EXTRAVAGANZAS
I wrote a grant to invite a local screenprinting artist into a high school art classroom for 6 weeks, followed by a student-made semi permanent installation in the school.
HIGH SCHOOL ARTS RESIDENCY
RESIDENT ARTIST AND SEMI-PERMANENT INSTALLATION
A mural project in a high school by established artists to show students that there is support from the community and to help them feel valued while fostering and inspiring creativity in a space where they spend a big portion of time.
